Dr Laura Gray recently visited the RSS in London to attend a course on Longitudinal and Missing Data.  She attended the course to gain skills which will be useful in an upcoming grant application to the ESRC new investigator award. The course was led by Professor Geert Verbeke and Professor Geert Molenberghs, both from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.

Laura successfully obtained funding for the course from the National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM).  Travel and expenses were funded by the MDH faculty career development fund.

Laura found the two-day course very useful and was pleased to see some familiar faces also attending the course, in HEDS doctoral research fellow, Ben Kearns and ScHARR alumni, Dr Amy Whitehead.
