HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

Every year the Brocher Foundation, based at Hermance in the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland, funds and hosts residential expert symposia and workshops in its picturesque chateau on the shores of Lake Geneva (see photo).

 Next month Dr Andrew Booth from HEDS will be joining international colleagues from the core GRADE-CERQual Working Group, together with representatives from Universities and HTA agencies across the globe, for a three day methods workshop. The workshop is designed to take the GRADE-CERQual system for grading recommendations from qualitative syntheses to its next level of development and offers an opportunity to celebrate the impending appearance of a seven part series on GRADE-CERQual in Implementation Science.
