MALT newsletter

MALT (Overcoming the Barriers to Mainstreaming Assisted Living Technologies) is a project that is exploring current barriers and facilitators to using telehealth for patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Chronic Heart Failure within community health settings. The project is looking at:
  • Cost-effectiveness;
  • Service and business models; and
  • Staff, carer and patient acceptance.

The project team for the cost-effectiveness are Simon Dixon, Alan Brennan, Praveen Thokala and Pete Dodd.  The methods, findings and next steps for each project team are summarised in a newsletter available here.
