CHEERS checklist

Consolidated Health Economic Evaluation Reporting Standards (CHEERS) are now live.  From the CEA Registry Blog:

“The goal of the ISPOR Health Economic Evaluation Guidelines Publication Task Force was to produce guidance on how to improve the clarity, transparency, and consistency of economic evaluations and how they are reported.

The task force recommendations are contained in the CHEERS statement, a user-friendly 24-item standard checklist of essential information to be included in these studies. The checklist has been endorsed and published simultaneously in BMC Medicine, BMJ, BJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Clinical Therapeutics, Cost Effectiveness and Resource Allocation, The European Journal of Health Economics, International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care, Journal of Medical Economics, Pharmacoeconomics, and Value in Health."

Further details are available at the ISPOR website, including a simple pdf of the checklist.
