Hidden HTA

Occasionally we like to highlight the use of HTA for decision processes that are hidden away.  NHS England undertakes a lot of HTA as part of its specialist commissioning role.

Their methods are less rigorous than NICE in every regard, yet nothing is said or reported.  Their most recent attempt looks at stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT) for the treatment of the surgical cavity following resection of cerebral metastases.
