HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

NHS England Clinical Commissioning Policy Propositions

This is just a reminder that NICE isn’t the only body that evaluates new technologies and sets out national policy.  NHS England do it too.  Two policy propositions are currently open to consultation:
  • Bendamustine with rituximab for relapsed indolent non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (all ages)
  • Vertebral Body Tethering for Scoliosis (all ages)
