We are always interested at HEDS Towers when someone from a new country visits our blog for the first time. This month we have had our innaugural visit from Uzbekistan over in Central Asia.

You will be interested to hear that Uzbekistan is one of only two countries 'doubly landlocked'. That means it is completely surrounded by one or more landlocked countries which requires the crossing of at least national borders to reach a coastline, so that's some journey to go for a paddle. The other country is Liechtenstein who are yet to visit us, am sure someone will find us soon enough from there.
