HEDS has been working with the University of Sheffield’s Department of Computer Science to explore how Natural Language Processing techniques can be integrated in evidence synthesis studies. The collaboration has resulted in funding for a PhD scholarship in “Supporting Healthcare Decision Modelling with Natural Language Processing”. The scholarship will be jointly supervised by Dr Mark Stevenson, Department of Computer Science and Professsor Jim Chilcott and Dr Suzy Paisley (ScHARR).
