HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

NICE DSU update

The DSU, led by Allan Wailoo in HEDS, is currently involved in work in the following areas:

  • New Technical Support Documents (TSDs) on partitioned survival analysis and the calibration of treatment effects
  • Quality assurance of models which inform NICE Technology Appraisals
