HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

Economic evaluation animation in Portuguese
Wellington Leite and Tiago Pereira from the Hospital Alemão Oswaldo Cruz in Brazil have added Portuguese subtitles and some music to Nick Latimer’s cartoon about why we need economic evaluation. Tiago is going to use the video in a distance learning course in Health Technology Assessment aimed at 3000 Brazilian decision makers/health professionals from the Brazilian public health system. It is free of charge/non-profit and funded by the Brazilian Ministry of Health.
