You will support research and consultancy programmes in the Section of Health Economics and Decision Science (HEDS). The research will be focused on applied cost-effectiveness analysis relating to patient level data and other data sources. Examples of approaches that will be used in the post include advising on the design of economic evaluations alongside clinical studies and the statistical analysis of the economic data from those studies, decision analytic modelling (e.g. spreadsheet modelling using Excel and VBA) and analysis of patient reported outcome and cost data.
You should have research experience relating to cost-effectiveness analysis of patient level data, publications in peer-reviewed journals and have given presentations at conferences. You should have your own methodological research interests that are complementary to those within HEDS.
