HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

ScHARR Teaching and Learning Excellence Awards
There are two awards made each year to allow our students to help us recognise excellence in the ‘classroom’ and/or in learning support. These awards are given in recognition of continued excellence and inspiration in teaching and learning and/or learner support in ScHARR.
Congratulations to HEDS’ own Tessa Peasgood, John Stevens and Tracey Young, who were nominated for the awards by our students for their excellence in learning and teaching.
