HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

2nd Panel on Cost Effectiveness in Health and Medicine

The 1st Panel wrote an influential set of guidelines for economic evaluation around 20 years ago.  The guidelines were often referred to as the ‘Washington Panel Guidelines’ or ‘The Gold Book’.  Well, it’s being revised, with draft Chapters open to all for comment via the Tufts website.

Once posted, each chapter will be available for review for 3 weeks.  The list of chapters and those currently open for review are listed below.
