HEDS are looking to recruit a Research Associate/Fellow in Health Outcomes and Utilities. We are looking for someone with a relevant economics or psychological background to work with leading researchers on methodological research funded from a variety of sources including Department of Health, health foundations and pharmaceutical companies.
In the first year, there is an exciting opportunity to work on a study to examine the preferences of
patients with diabetes for self-management funded by the Health Foundation. More generally you will be involved in the application of a range of psychometric and statistical techniques to develop and test of preference-based measures of health and other outcomes.
You would initially work with Professors John Brazier, Aki Tsuchiya and Ben Van Hout in a number of different projects, with a view to developing your own programme of work.
It is a two year post, in the first instance. Further details are available here. Closing date is 7th January 2015.
