An EQ-5D-5L Value Set for England

Staff from HEDS (Prof. Ben van Hout and Brendan Mulhern) and the Office of Health Economics (Prof. Nancy Devlin, Koonal Shah and Dr. Yan Feng) have collaborated on a high profile project to develop a value set for the EQ-5D-5L that is based on the preferences of the English general population. The value set will be used in the calculation of QALYs for use in economic evaluations.

The study team recently held a seminar to launch the EQ-5D-5L value set.  The slides that were presented at the seminar are available on HEDS Slideshare here.

Look out for papers providing more detail about the development of the value set over the next few months.
