“The updated guide has been amalgamated to contain details of both the Single Technology Appraisal (STA) and Multiple Technology Appraisal (MTA) processes and will come into effect when the first invitations for evidence submission to the Technology Appraisal programme are sent out post publication on the NICE website. For appraisals already ongoing, the process steps in the new guide will be followed wherever possible, from that point onwards.
