HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

Cochrane Collaboration update

New and updated Cochrane Reviews highlighted on their website this month are:
  • Inhaled corticosteroids in children with persistent asthma: dose-response effects on growth
  • Inhaled corticosteroids in children with persistent asthma: effects on growth
  • Task shifting from doctors to non-doctors for initiation and maintenance of antiretroviral therapy
  • Antimicrobial drugs for treating cholera
