HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

  • Trastuzumab-containing regimens for metastatic breast cancer
  • Intravenous magnesium sulfate for treating adults with acute asthma in the emergency department
  • Levothyroxine or minimally invasive therapies for benign thyroid nodules
  • Powered versus manual toothbrushing for oral health
  • Oral misoprostol for induction of labour
