Launch of the Commission on Wellbeing and Policy Report

There is to be a briefing, panel discussion and Q&A to launch the Legatum Institute Commission on Wellbeing and Policy report on Friday 21st March 2014.  The report, which was commissioned by the Legatum Institute, seeks to examine the implications for public policy of wellbeing analysis. Whilst the event is in London (registration details here), it will be livestreamed here from 9.30am - 11.30am.

By way of context for those who have not being following the rise of wellbeing measurement….. it is increasingly being used in UK public policy, and there is growing interest in its use within health (even as a broader-based replacement for the QALY).  HEDS has a programme of work examining the measurement of wellbeing in health care and its relationship to health related utility and effectiveness.
