HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

Research Assistant post in HEDS...

..examining quality of life issues and decision-making surrounding fertility preservation in young women with cancer. The research study is being carried out at Weston Park Cancer Hospital and the Assisted Conception Unit at the Jessop Wing, Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield.  The role will involve subject recruitment, the administration of health-related questionnaires (pre and post cancer treatment), carrying out qualitative interviews and assisting with the data analysis. You will support the project and be responsible for the recruitment and retention of research subjects and the day-to-day project management under the supervision of Dr Georgina Jones.

The post is fixed-term for 12 months, for 21 hours per week with the working pattern to be agreed. Further details are available here.
