Telehealth Industry Day

ScHARR held an event as part of the its Mainstreaming Assisted Living Technologies (MALT) project for manufacturers to meet service providers and learn about the intermediate results from the project. The economics team – Praveen Thokala, Pete Dodd, Alan Brennan and Simon Dixon – were there. A presentation of the MALT financial model was given and a more detailed run through of the model was given in two workshops.

Sessions and presentations were also run on “Challenges of current business models” and “Learning from experience and clinical practice to achieve successful telehealth implementation”. All presentation are available at http://www.malt.group.shef.ac.uk/news/recent/2013/7/telehealth-industry-meets-health-communities.

If you would like more information about this or any other elements of the project, please contact Lizzie Coates at e.coates@sheffield.ac.uk or tweet us @MALT_YH.
