HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

Review of NICE Methods

“The Institute has undertaken a review of the 'Guide to Methods of Technology Appraisal'. This document is a guide for all organisations considering submitting evidence to the technology appraisal programme and describes key aspects of appraisal methodology for both Multiple and Single Technology Appraisals.
The new, draft guide is now open for consultation. We would like to receive comments on this document from anyone who has an interest in the Technology Appraisal Programme. Comments can be made via the form below and the closing day date for receipt of comments is Friday 31 August 5.00pm.”
