We are offering a 3 year PhD studentship to be based in a Department of
Health funded Policy Research Unit in Economic Evaluation located in the
School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of
Sheffield. We welcome applications to undertake methodological research
in the areas of: innovation; outcome measurement in health and social
care; measuring and valuing inter-sectoral effects for economic
evaluation; social value of a QALY.
The studentship will include home/EU tuition fees plus an annual
maintenance grant (currently £13,590 for 2011/2012). In addition there
is an annual Research Training Support Grant of £750 to cover conference
attendance, training courses, equipment and books.
