Another open access journal is on the market, but with a slightly different twist – it is free to publish within the journal, but not free to read for one year. Their funding model is mainly based on the purchasing of reprints by pharmaceutical companies.
The journal is “Farmeconomia. Health economics and therapeutic pathways”. The journal isn't indexed yet, but they are planning to submit it to Medline and Pubmed at the end of this year. The journal was first published in 2009.
