HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

HEDM Teaching restarts

A new semester has just started, with HEDS running 8 modules across four Masters degree courses.  On the MSc Health Economics and Decision Modelling we have:

HAR670 Medical Statistics & Evidence Synthesis
HAR671 Operational Research Techniques in Health Resource Allocation
HAR672 Advanced Simulation Methods

On the MSc Economic and Health Economics, HAR694 is available together with:

On the MSc International Health Technology Assessment, Pricing and Reimbursement there is:
HAR6112 International Healthcare Systems and Reimbursement
HAR6113 Cost-effectiveness Modelling in International HTA

On the MPH, we are teaching:
HAR687 Health Care Financing and Economic Evaluation

Most courses are available full or part time, with Certificate, Diploma and Masters options.  MSc IHTAPR is part time and entirely web based.  Several modules form the basis of stand alone courses.
