HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

Systematic Reviews Short Course

A full capacity workshop of 30 participants from all over the UK and from Denmark attended the second running of the ScHARR Introduction to Systematic Reviews Short Course.  The course was coordinated by Alison Scope who was supported by a faculty that included Eva Kaltenthaler, Myfanwy Lloyd Jones, Andrew Booth, Katy Cooper, Sue Harnan, Danny Hind, and Helen Buckley Woods. Delegates, including two previous attendees from the successful ESQUIRE 2010 Workshop also run by the HEDS Section, enjoyed an intensive three days covering all stages of the systematic review process and a workshop dinner at St Paul's Hotel, Sheffield.
