HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

New Director at HEDS

After leading HEDS since its inception, Alan Brennan has stepped down as Director of HEDS as of today.  As well as the creation of HEDS, Alan’s reign has seen many new staff arrive, many new projects and publications, and our important contribution to ScHARR’s successful Research Assessment Exercise in 2008.  His role has been taken over by Simon Dixon for the next four years.
