HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

Teaching restarts

Lecturing for the spring semester has just started.  On the MSc Health Economics and Decision Modelling (HEDM), the modules taught this semester are Advanced Topics in Economic Evaluation, Medical Statistics and Evidence Synthesis, Operational Research Techniques in Health Resource Allocation and Advanced Simulation Methods.

On the MSc Economics and Health Economics (EHE), the modules taught this semester are Advanced Topics in Economic Evaluation of Health (joint with MSc HEDM), Research Methods in Health, Applied Microeconometrics, Applied Macroeconometrics (option), Development Finance (option), Mathematical Methods for Economics (option), Industrial Organisation (option).
