HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

Winter 2010/11 newsletter

The latest HEDS newsletter is now available online here.  This edition includes:
  • a short biography of Professor Ron Akehurst’s 17 years at the helm of the School of Health and Related Research.
  • summary of the COSMEQ study which is developing and testing methods for deriving condition-specific perference-based measures from existing measures
  • summary of the whole disease models study that is examing their use in resource allocation decisions
