HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

Department of Health consultations

The White Paper - Equity and excellence: Liberating the NHS - and associated policy intitiatives such as the cancer fund, have suggested numerous changes many of which are the subject of consultations.  Current live consultations are:
  • The Cancer Drugs Fund
  • An Information Revolution
  • Liberating the NHS: Greater choice and control
A consultation on value based pricing has also been promised by the end of the year.  Should HEDS make a response to any of these?
