This month's website is one that has just appeared on our eye line called Lens.org. Looking similar to Digital Science's Dimensions platform. Lens.org is another in the growing number of academic intelligence and analytics databases.

Website of the Month for November - Trip Search Engine

For November's Website of the Month we have chosen the excellent Trip Search Engine

Trip is a clinical search engine designed to allow users to quickly and easily find and use high-quality research evidence to support their practice and/or care. Trip has been online since 1997 and in that time has developed into the internet’s premier source of evidence-based content. Their motto is ‘Find evidence fast’ and this is something they aim to deliver for every single search.

As well as research evidence they also allow clinicians to search across other content types including images, videos, patient information leaflets, educational courses and news.

They also include the PICO search tool which allows you to search for research in relation to their four criteria of Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome.

Website of the Month - ISPOR International Digest of Databases

This month's website is the ISPOR International Digest of Databases.

"The International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) has developed an electronic index (digest) of 400 databases from 45 countries.  The Digest consists of key attributes of health care databases. It is grouped by country and allows both key word searches and searches by type of database.

The Digest is an invaluable source of information for health care outcomes researchers around the world.  This information is also very useful to health care decision makers, clinicians, and ultimately, patients.

If your organization has a health care database that could be included in the ISPOR International Digest of Databases, please complete the questionnaire at: Health Care Database Key Attributes Questionnaire."
