HEDS is part of the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. We undertake research, teaching, training and consultancy on all aspects of health related decision science, with a particular emphasis on health economics, HTA and evidence synthesis.

Job in HEDS

We are looking for a Research Assistant who will provide research support to the EUSCREEN project partners at the University of Sheffield within ScHARR and the Academic Unit of Ophthalmology and Orthoptics.

EUSCREEN is a multicenter EU-project “Implementation of cost-optimized childhood vision and hearing screening programs in middle- income countries in Europe” coordinated from Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, with the University of Sheffield as a partner.

Duties will include systematic reviewing, design and construction of research proposals, development of systematic review methodologies, dissemination of findings in peer-reviewed journals and scientific conferences and teaching.  You should have a post graduate qualification involving systematic review methodologies or another relevant discipline and a working knowledge of the appropriate software such as Microsoft Office and Endnote.
