“You will work within the Health Economics and Decision Science (HEDS) Section (http://www.shef.ac.uk/scharr/heds) of ScHARR at the University of Sheffield providing support to NIHR Programme Grant entitled, Bridging the age gap in breast cancer: Improving outcomes for older women. You will be working with the programme grant lead (Ms Lynda Wyld), and the multi-disciplinary team which includes clinicians, social scientists, statisticians and health economists.
In particular the work will involve health economic modelling and statistical modelling, based on retrospective & prospective UK data to inform the development of an accessible web-based clinical management algorithm to help clinical teams decide on best practice for elderly woman with breast cancer. This will include cost effectiveness modelling, analysis of complex datasets and design and validation of mathematical models.”
